I just tried mine out with my Squier Classic Vibe Tele. The Volume cleanup is very smooth. Tried it with my Strat and it too has smooth volume cleanup. The 500K VOL pot makes the volume cleanup a little more touchy, but it still works well. Strat has medium output alnico 5 pickups.

I tried it with all HFD knobs at noon and with all at noon except FUZZ at 3:00.

Maybe there is something not quite right with your HFD. Mods are difficult to build compared to a stock color-by-numbers board. Which transistors did you use? What is the voltage on Q3's collector?

I think the last one, I think somewhere I made a mistake, I will check the voltage, pedal is now in rehearsal room. What would be a “normal” voltage?

Q1-C & Q3-C should be around 4.5V. What part number transistors did you use?

Oke I will check the voltages and if I continue to have issues I will open a new thread. Transistor are AC127 and BC109C

Voltage are 4V for Q1 and 5V for Q3 (AC127), the cleanup is not great but oke, do you think it worth the effort optimizing bias voltage?
