Am I Slacking Off or Are You Guys Getting Better?

I am in recent awe of all the projects you guys have dished out recently. Build reports with multiple pedals, super slick artwork, and LEDs that use LEDs to light the LEDs😂. This got me thinking...I haven't really built anything in months!! Sure, I've breadboarded a ton of crap but not much soldering. I posted a muffin fuzz breadboard build last week that took me about a week to finish it and not due to difficulty. I simply haven't had the time to get around to it. Weekend projects, holidays, and spending time with my family have gotten in the way from building. Don't get me wrong I love doing those other things (except with in-laws of course), but when the wife wants some alone time I tend to go play rather than build. I definitely need to squeeze more build time into my day and actually box something up rather than just populate a board.

Rant aside, you guys are definitely getting better at your builds and making me look like a chump. Keep it up!!!

Nah, you’re doing it right. My rig is basically just a test setup right now to make sure my builds work. These pedals are supposed to be played through. After this next batch, I need to back off of building for awhile and actually play. The whole reason to use pedals is to inspire playing right? I have so many new pedals that I have yet to fully explore them all. One of my sons asked me to get out my Mother 32 synth the other day and after plugging into a few of the new pedals I was like DAMN! So much sonic exploring to be done!
