Anyone ever build a head switching box? 3 heads one cap

Quite the typo in the title lol

So I’ve got 3 amps I like to use. All are 4 ohm outputs, and they all go to the same 2x12 cab.

The problem is getting behind there when i decide i want to use the bassman to unplug the speaker cable from the bandmaster is a real pita (a healthy love if ipas and ice cream hasnt made this any easier.). I’d like to build something with a 4pdt type switch (incase i ever add another) that would allow me to switch between amps. When they are powered down. And have a dummy load present when they aren’t selected. So me after one too many ipas doesn’t think i have a different amp selected. The dummyload probably wouldnt need to worry too much about heat dissipation as it would be realized quickly I’m on the wrong spot.

Just curious anyones thoughts, is this reasonably possible, have you done it? Seen a schematic or design for it? I saw radial has something that allows you to switch back and forth with a footswitch etc. ground lift etc. dont need all that, but also want more than 2.

Use heavy duty 3pdt (because you want indicator lights!!!!) with high current rating. At least 5 amps but I'd shoot for 10 amps.
For the dummy load, either 4x of diy rheostat dummy loads or a bunch of wire wound resistors in series parallel on a large heat sink/aluminum plate

I realize i meant to put a 2p4t, I think i can live without indicator lights since it would be rotary.
