Hey everyone. Just finished up building an Arkaim Fuzz (first diy pedal as well) and the thing works really well through guitar (Little noisy but I think its partially due to its location and power supply). Plugged it into my bass and... yeah it didn't go well. I don't know if it's necessarily supposed to work with bass, which is what I'd like to know. All I get is a fuzzy, airy sound, and the circuit doesn't even seem to touch the bass signal.

There were some recommendations for the Arkaim in my Pedals for Bass Guitar thread, so I’d expect it to work nicely. Haven’t built one myself yet though.
Haha I forgot about that thread, that’s where I decided to go with the arkaim. I tried moving the pedal elsewhere and the same hissing noise occurs. Seems like it’s coming directly from the pedal, too, and is some sort of electronics issue. Just still don’t understand why it works perfectly with guitar yet not bass. On to more troubleshooting tomorrow.
