Bc109b question

Went to my local electronic store to buy some shrink tube. They had somes bc109b really cheap . I wonder if they are genuine or not. Couldn't find anything on the web with the numbers on it. Any idea ? Yes I'm building a fuzz face and will probably try them

The B is mid-gain, it appears. That tracks with other NPN that use A,B and C suffix.

I was mostly wondering what the manufacturer was. I thought the m was for motorolla but couldn't find anything related to m9441 or m9447.

I can confirm that's within the normal gain range for a BC109B.

Great transistor for a wah pedal.

If they were Motorola, there'd be an "M" somewhere on it that looks like this:

I've never seen a Motorola transistor without that stylised M-branding, but then I've not seen everything...
