I finally got my Beatle Juice Fuzz up and running. I burned an eyelet going from R8 to R7 from removing a misplaced resistor. I ran the leg above the board and tied into the resistor with a dap of solder. Fired it up and it’s working.
I just have a question about the Bias knob. When at 0, it’s a very gated sound which is what I expect. The gate starts disappearing as I turn, but it seems full-on open when it gets past 7 o’clock. No change in signal for the rest of the way. I’m not really stressing about this. I’m just glad it works enough that I am satisfied. I did order another board because I thought all was lost when I burned the eyelet. If something is glaringly wrong with this from opinions, I may revisit another build later… much later!
