BF-2 / BF-2B (Fraudhacker builds) differences

Sunday morning puzzle. The different resistor and cap values, marked. So you don't have too.

The addition in the center of the BF-2B was explained on the Bean boards... "The R65/C41 is not special to the HF-2 overall, just an improvement to reduce noise. You might explore adding it in on tagboard (if possible) and see what difference it makes. It might be a good mod to build into a BF-2."

Prints come from this service manual: https://manuals.plus/m/4c753f811e6649981fe4dc560e21bda12003e23f0be79ca3ab77aad4046ce499.pdf

Fraudhacker. Going to have to go through this one to see if that noise bit was implemented, but I am not fluent in schematic. 🙈

The fraudhacker does not include the extra power filtering that’s on the boss hf-2/bf-2b and honestly, it’s not needed. I have done a layout of a standalone hf-2 board and the extra filter cap made little to no difference. My first hf-2 build was actually done on a fraudhacker board and it sounds identical to the one I laid out. Using a 3204 vs a 3207 and having the right cap values at c6 and c7 (c9 and c23 on the fraudhacker) are what make the biggest sound difference between a bf-2 and a bf-2b.
