Big Muff 2 Build

After receiving the PCB yesterday I populated and have mixed feelings so far. It seems a bit muffled overall with a muddy low end regardless of the tone and sustain settings. It tightens up if I run the signal through a graphic eq with the 2000-3500 Hz freqs boosted a little but then it sounds liker every other distortion pedal. Aalo there is a pretty noticeable hum that never goes away.

After comparing it to videos of the real pedal it's not a lot different, even the hum. I need to play with it some more.

Anybody else build one yet?

Excellent point. Even if I end up not liking it that’s OK. I got it to work and the most significant costs were the enclosure and the board itself. I have about 4 other projects that don’t work to one degree or another.
I’m just kidding around. Kinda. ;)

I haven’t looked, but do you have threads for your non-working builds?

You had a good point about why it lived in the garage. I'm glad I didn't go out and buy one.

A couple. The Skyscpape Chorus by Dead Astronaut has no wet signal, looks like they copied the AION version of the EHX Small Clone:

And this one: https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/voltage-supply-question.28045/
I put it on the General board just to ask about voltage supply from the power section. None of the ICs on the board get any power. Footswitch LEDs do. It's been so long since I looked at it I forgot exactly what what the board was. I know it's a PCB Mania.
