Hey everyone - this may not be the best place to ask this question, but so far, my forum experiences here have been really helpful - so I'm hoping someone can help me out with this.
I have a Boss RV-6 reverb that I am looking to modify with something that I have seen done on many other Boss pedals that have multiple modes. I want to add a second stomp switch that ties into the mode selector knob so that I can switch to a different mode without having to turn the knob.
Kinnatone does this mod, and JHS used to, but I can't seem to find any schematics online. I have personally done a similar mod to a Line 6 DL4 - whereby you add an additional switch to access the looper.
I'm assuming that either a DPDT or 3PDT switch is necessary, as well as a status LED and resistor, and a trimpot to set the location of the second mode setting. What I am in the dark on is just which parts to use (Particularly the value of the trimpot), and where to solder them to the PCB.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
