Boss SL-2 Slicer

It’s funny because I was discussing I missed my SL-20 Slicer yesterday, and I saw this news this morning: https://www.boss.info/global/products/sl-2/

5-6 years ago, I owned the SL-20. For those who don’t know about it, it’s a kind of rhythmic/patterns tremolo effect, with MIDI sync that makes it great to pair with synths and drum machine. I eventually traded it for a Peavey Tele, and then sold that to buy back the guitar I had as a teen from a friend.
As all that led me to playing guitar again and this pedal building road, I have no regrets but still missed it, and prices for the pedal has gone up quite a bit.
So I was pleasantly surprised to see the announcement today, and I hope the new format works well, as the peda really shines with the Duty and Attack controls, now on the same dual pot.
I guess I’ll have to find out…

Just saw the announcement the SL-2 earlier today. The videos look really interesting. I always wanted a SL-20 when they first were released but I never had space on my board for the big one. The smaller form factor really makes this one interesting

I saw this one earlier today, too. I'd expect it's digital, though, so maybe not cloneable.

Just found room for the full size one on my board. Super cool pedal. Very difficult to toss on in a live situation without some sort of midi aid.
