Once again I've gotten a bit behind with my build reports.

Here's one that I don't intend to do a dedicated demo for. It's an interesting sounding distortion pedal even though it's called an "overdrive".

Without opening up that whole can of worms of what constitutes overdrive vs distortion vs fuzz, to me this has a pretty aggressive distortion sound to it.

I had never heard of Sobbat pedals before but when I started looking into this board and listened to some demo's, they were far and few between on Youtube.

It's a Japanese Boutique pedal company and I just couldn't resist building it out for a look see.

There's a ton of gain/distortion but like the Tube Zone I recently built it also does pretty well at the lower gain settings. Although even completely CCW on the drive knob there's still quite a bit of gain.

This would be a great pedal for a more modern player and shreddier player than I am. But still glad to have built it and have it in my arsenal.

I had one of these Small Bear "AnalogMan" hammered gray enclosures that I had already started drilling for another project and I borked the drilling so I couldn't use it.

It fit this board just right though:)

Build went very smooth with no issues. Typical @Robert layout with his poetic symmetry.
