In my quest to push myself further with pcb design, I decided to go into the world of BBDs. For my first attempt, I went with a boss CE-2. A little more complex than the Small Clone but, still a right of passage in my eyes and relatively simple as far as delay based effects are concerned. I won’t go into any serious details with this because, it’s just a CE-2 clone. We’ve all heard it, many people own it, a lot of us have built it, and if you want one, all of our favorite vendors sell a version. I really tried to do a layout all on my own with this one and ironically, it ended up looking a lot like the Aion Azure. Not my intent but, that’s how it turned out. The important thing is, it works and sounds great. Onto the next one I guess.
