Buff before Boost 🤦‍♂️

It’s no secret I love my Arche boost. The bass knob has the widest sweep from cutting to blasting the best warms ever, and the level gos from light boost to full on crunch. When stacked this thing has one of the best 80s rock distortions I’ve played.

Last night I was rearranging my board and for the first time the Arche landed after my General Tso (which is the only buffered bypass on the board) and holy moly. I knew some pedals prefer a buffer in front of them but I didn’t realize the Arche was one of them. It went from my favorite boost pedal to an epic boost pedal.

Moral of the story, I’m going to bust out my multiple shoe boxes of unused pedals and try them after a buffer. Can’t believe the difference.

Happy building forum friends.
