I had been wanting to build a delay for a while but was intimidated by soldering the FV-1, but finally got around to it. The build was super quick and easy and I didn't have any issues with soldering the chip. I did have a problem though, which I think was the crystal. When I'd put the toggle on the lower position, all effect would be cut off and the mix knob would kill the dry sound. I'm glad I ordered 2 crystals and now I have a working pedal. It sounds great and can get real fun and crazy.
