Hello, I'm interested in building a C2CE pedal or two and looking for recommendations for which to buy.
I play a humbucker guitar into a small Bassman/Marshall type tube amp and looking for something with smooth breakup to push the front end of the amp. I'm currently using a H&K Tubefactor (Ch1 only) which sounds good but it's way too big for my pedalboard! I also play a P Bass through the same rig and have a Rhodes & Wurlitzer piano that will probably go through some of these pedals. I was looking at the Particle Accelerator, Diplomat & King Nothing as they're the ideal size for my board, but the Bass Dude and Ambassador also look interesting. The London Underground demos sounded good online but there's no kit for them. I wonder if there's an easy way to add more gain to the Particle Accelerator too, if that would be a good pedal for this?
Also, after seeing the Bathtub reverb online, I thought a tube driver pedal for a reverb tank would be very cool! And a stereo version would be even better!
