I thought I’d close this thread out with a big smile. It worked! The 250k pot with a 270k resistor in parallel give a fine sweep. I now have three gold knobs and a Toggle switch on the top of the cigar box. It looks good and sounds awesome with the fuzz switched on! I did wire an LED to the board but it‘s inside. I will eventually use extension wires to get it visible or I’m sure I’ll waste a lot of 9v batteries by forgetting it’s on. Thanks to all who kicked in their two cents, it was much appreciated!

Here it is. The uppermost knob is tone, the middle is volume, and the one closest to the bridge is the fuzz.

You're right, on the guitar, I won't need the LED. So looking at the Copper Clad Fuzz schematic, I assume I can just dispense with the short leg that has a 4k7 resistor. LED, and switch to ground in series, right?

Actually someone on this group had a similar thing going, and did put the LED on. It looked great. I want one.... lol...
