Can I make a potentiometer not go to zero?

I'd like to make a switchable output boost for a fuzz pedal, but I want it to not kill the sound when it's all the way down. Is there a way to achieve that?

If you add a resistor in series with pot lug to ground (usually lug 1 on vol pot) that can be done I'd say.
Got a schematic and pot values for being a bit more precise?

Thank you! Just a general question. Would you mind demonstrating on a Fuzz Face just for a simple, easy to understand example?

Something like this is a common scenario (not from a FuzzFace but similar idea). The added resistor R10 means that there will still be audible volume when vol pot is dialed all the way down.
Note that the overall resistance to ground changes, so again, if you apply this it depends what and where you want to put that in.
You could for example replace a A100k vol pot with a A50K pot and a 50k resistor to ground so that overall resistance remains same.
Makes sense?
