So, having breadboarded this a while ago, I finally committed to the PCB version ahead of an upcoming gig. My original thought was to combine this with a Median compressor in a 1590BB, but I ran out of time and willpower to shoehorn these into an enclosure that's just not quite big enough.
I've been testing this combination regardless and it sounds great with my P-Bass. A bit of dirt at max but not excessive, as others have said.
Never having played a B-15, I can't say how true to the original this might be. In any case, please keep bass-centric gear flowing, @Robert, and I recommend this particular version to any and all in our low end fraternity.
