Well, got tired of modelling issues, latency (don't ask) and beep bop beep 0's and 1's tones.
So, sold the Fractal AX8 to come back to analog (tube) preamps. Even though i'm using inears for my gigs, i miss the grain and natural compression of analog, the rest can be digital, audience don't care as long as they are entertained, but I need the analog sound to feel in control of it.
So long story short, i've re bought my mainstay preamp, the old yet good AMT SS 20. Tube and "high voltage driven FETs" (acording to them) to get great tone in both clean and high gain sounds. I've really enjoyed its tones, but sold it because i coulnd't switch the channels on my also beloved and re bought Boss MS3.
So, my plan is to adapt the channel footswitch (3pdt) to a 1/4 or bigger jack to connect it to the Boss to change channels upon presets. Boss is capable to channel switch on relay based amps, so there goes the challenge.
Here are the schematics (in PDF) and images i could find of the AMT SS20:

My idea is to avoid to introduce another clean pre and hence using another loop.
They made a "control out" to send an impulse to change, but i think you need to buy another gadget from them to make it work (clever marketing move, but not very convenient for the musician), and contrary to what i need to do with the pedal.
I've asked about this in freestomp boxes forum some years ago but no one gave me an insight to this.
