Chauffeur (Daily Driver)

Here is the last of my recent builds. I was curious to see what all the fuss was about, and I wasn't disappointed. this pedal covers a lot of ground. I currently have it set as a low gain pedal. I stack the pale horse and the fuchsia into the chauffeur and can get many shades of loud. I'm still trying to decide how I want to use this pedal, as it has many usable sounds. I worked too quick when populating the resistors and placed a 1M in r13 instead of a 1K resistor. luckily I figured it out what my mistake was pretty quick.

For the design, I decided to go for the station wagon, I have many memories being driven around in one. The knob surrounds and 9v are from @dmnCrawler's template . The faceplate is from @amplifyfun.

Dat an older Mercedes wagon?

Perfect for hauling my DB, and is the pedal perfect for running my DB through it or does it cut bass?

that is an old Mercedes, good eye! I honestly haven't paid much attention to how it interacts with bass from stacking pedals. When I get a moment I'll try it out and report back.

So I did hear some bass cut but not a lot. I can still tell that I have a fuzz face running into the chauffeur. So the bass cut wasn’t an issue. I should mention that I play a S/S telecaster. They aren’t really known for there low end.

I think this thing is a real sleeper, super versatile and really sounds great.

I love your build, that knob game is strong.
Thanks! I’m pleasantly surprised by this pedal. It covers a lot of ground. I was wondering if it was going to be over engineered, but whatever they did works.

The knobs make this pedal. I’m really happy with how the design turned out
