Just finished up my Chop Shop build. This was my second build but not without it's problems! I only could find SMD JFET's so I had to solder those to some breakout boards - first time doing anything with SMD. It was pretty challenging but with a tweezers and a very fine soldering tip I was able to get it done.
Also first time firing it up bypass had no sound and effect sound was VERY quiet. Based on some helpful debugging posts here and my multimeter I was able to track it down to a poor solder joint on the IN jack signal terminal. Got that fixed and now it sounds pretty awesome.
Now on to the next one!
