I have two questions here:
1) Per @Chuck D. Bones's insights in this thread, I have socketed R5 (normally 68k) and connected a B100K pot for midrange control. It works great, but when cranked all the way up it makes a shrill trebly noise. Is there any way to counteract his?
2) I realized that as the filter (Tone) part of this circuit is legit just a wah, why not add expression control? I've been successful in installing a switched TRS jack between the board and the B100K Tone pot. I've also socketed R9 (normally 330K) and tried new values there to widen the Q. I'm almost at my highest-value resistors I have on hand, 4.7M, and while I'm liking the quality of the wah sound my expression pedal gets, it's mostly towards the upper end of its sweep. For what it's worth, it's a Lehle Dual Expression and I'm using its 50K jack.
I only know so much about circuitry at this point, but if I'm correct this part of the schematic is the wah inductor, does that mean it's worth my experimenting with R10 and C3 values too in order to achieve a more usable sweep?
