Circulator Pedal - Rate pot on position 0~50% kills the LFO

Hello all.

I hired one tech guy to assemble two circulator pedals for me using the Rev 2 boards. They work fine unless the rate pot is between position 0~50% and mode 1. It seems that the LFO just dies and never comes back (video below). The Mode 3 works alright tho, the LFO drops to 0 (the led goes dark) and then goes slowly to 1 (bright).

Took one picture of the assembled circuit board. If needed I could also take the picture from the other side of the board.

Thanks,

'fraid that's the nature of the beast here...the original circuit is prone to these problems as well. We have an electrical engineer on the forum that has some thoughts on the circuit:

Swap the rate pot to a C500k, or keep the current one under 1/2.
