Hi i just want to share my experience, I built this circuit few month ago, first i thought it was working as expected but:
- it was noisy (noise floor / white noise) ,
- the signal started to clip very early when boost pot was just above 2 /10.
- and the limiter was too discrete.
To be short I discovered when touching R10 that noise floor was drasticaly reduced, so i simply had bad solders joints on R10. Now the circuit work as expected (almost i think)
- The noise floor is still present but normal and discrete.
- The boost is cleaner and beautifull.
- The limiter is clearly audible.
