Howdy folks!
I'm workin on the golden fleece clone and it has a fair bit of noise. I build it to the build docs originally and since it was pretty noisey I started substituting some other parts and it now has a 2n2222a transistor and bat41 clipping diodes. It is actually less noisey than it was originally, but it still has a higher noise floor than I think it should. I do not have a mythos golden fleece to compare it to, has anyone else given this build a go? Is this the normal noise floor?
It sounds like its cranked but the knob is set at 11 o'clock
