The 5th in line of my so called 12 builds of Christmas. I will probably ramble a as I’m writing this to my future self as much as anyone else.

I love this thing. Id previously built one with two seperate boards prior to the combined version releasing. But it’s a wiry mess inside, and in a 1590xx, so I wanted to build with a smaller footprint.

Im not sure if it’s because the build docs aren’t up yet, or if the audio book im listening to is distracting me, but getting all the pieces in took me a while. Caught myself a couple of times before soldering a component in the wrong spot. Probably should of took a break, but needed the distraction at the moment.

This is the first predrilled Tayda enclosure I’ve used, and let me tell you, the difference is huge. This is the first time, I don’t have 10 ft of wire for the foot switch alone.

I’m not quite sure what was up with my decals today. Typically, they’re super easy to apply. But I just could not get anything to stick to the metal. I had to scrub/scrape 3 attempts before finally staying with this one, and even then, I had to go back and use a permanent marker to shore up the decal. I have no idea if it’s due to the enclosure being predrilled, the limited edition color from Tayda, my decals or something else entirely. Usually, that part is a breeze.

I was stuck on the name. Waffled between Carbohydrate and Creatine. Ultimately, Creatine won out.

I think this will finally boot my morning glory clone off my board. 9233FD86-B4F6-4A7C-9B64-B1D753159CA6.jpeg C4B66114-45F7-4C62-A93B-49138058F35D.jpeg
