Yesterday I posted this build report:
forum.pedalpcb.com
There are a few things I have questions about.
When the Tim side has the volume, gain and boost all the way up it squeals. I doubt I would ever use it that way but can anyone tell me why this is, or how to fix it?
The TS10 part has much less output than the Tim & Klon, it is unity gain at 3-4 o’clock, is there any part(s) to swap to make it have more output?
And, this maybe the nature of it due to the splitting of the dual put into 2 pots but when the gain is fully down, or up on the Klon part, it gets really bassy/muffled. The very first and last part of the rotation is like that but turning towatd the center a little bit puts it back in the normal operation. Raising the tone pot in those positions seems like it gets it back to normal.
None of these are really problems so I’m just wondering.
Tres Hombres (Custom 2 in 1)
Here is my first 2 in 1build. It is 2 Effects Layouts projects, the Mitt (a Tim) and a Kentaride (a TS10 and a Klon in one PCB). I call it the "Tres Hombres." It turns 3 spaces on my pedalboard into 2, so that's nice. It started out fun with the Mitt built first and working right away, but...
