Greatings Y'all.
I recently found a bad 2n5088 in my 4 transistor Fuzz War, the fuzz was only about halfway there and the clean signal was pretty present. I replaced it, and the fuzz is back!
Unfortunately, I'm now getting a high pitched squealing noise. Goes away when I lower the pots. Any idea on how to make it go away?
I did clip off the 9v jack because it's very difficult to pull the circuit out. I used alligator clips to attach the wires to another 9v jack outside of the pedal, and none of the alligators are touching and they are connected to the appropriate pins on the 9v.
