Death by Audio no longer makes this pedal.
There are only 2 suppliers who offer a pcb and neither are in the United States. (One of them is Guitar Mania 😬)
The song I linked above "Roman Holiday" is based around this pedal going into a Marshall 800.
I would like to build this pedal. Again, and again.
Thank you!

Same here. I built it, it works, but it sounds too weak. So not unusable, but, as often with this PCB provider, don't expect the real thing! Moon Electronics sells a PCB for this one too, but I don't know what it's worth, never tried them.

Welp thankfully this project was quickly marked as IN PROGRESS so we'll hopefully have an opportunity to give Roberts tried and true layouts a shot <3

For the stripboarder there is this

I built one on the guitar mania one and it does work. I find the circuit doesn't have enough volume though. I may try adding an lpb1 to the front or back and see what happens

I’m pretty sure the transformer is backwards, hence why the low volume. I built one of these and have had the same outcome.

Looking at the moons electronic schematic and the tychobrache Octavia, I’m pretty sure Pcbgm have the transformer backwards.

Interesting. I'll pop it back on the bench and see what happens.

Try this one, the DBA Octave project on a free business card he was handing out:

It was an octave circuit much like the Clang, but with switchable octave and using a 386 power amp. The link has a gain boost mod, but I preferred stock as I was using it to boost other fuzzes.

This is a DIY assembled one that was for sale. I've never seen a real DBA built one.

I might give it chance unsoldering butchering that poor transformer and the attenant PCB then... Thanks for the tip :)
Also, wouldn't be anything new for PCBGM to make a mistake! :censored:
