Meh. Borked donor enclosure for now (hurt my wrist, can’t drill). It was close enough.
3 changes from the build doc - (1) no shielded hookup wire, (2) 2N5457s (Fingers crossed the NOS 2SK30As I ordered from a seller in France actually are when they get here), (3) 470 pF bright cap rather than 390 pF (can’t find my 390 pF bag).
I’m not blown away by the sound, but it is usable and has some cool tones throughout the sweep of the controls. I’ll withhold final judgment till I get the other jfets.
Building a few non-PPCB projects lately has increased my already high esteem for @Robert and his attention to detail. How’s that for diplomacy?

Got some help, gave it a new home. Don’t know why but it sounds better now. This is a killer fuzz.
