Derailler Overdrive 8mm electrolytic capacitor fits?

On the Derailler overdrive, will a 8mm electrolytic capacitor fit in C6? There seems to be sufficient spacing around C6 but it's hard to tell on the layout.

8mm diameter? Leave some extra lead floating above the board so you can just fold it over...that’s a big cap!

Good solution leave it floating above if it doesn't fit in there.
The only 6.3mm electro cap I found were 6 or 10 VDC rated on mouser.
Looked around with other suppliers and diameter goes even larger that 8mm.
