I just built the Distortion 250. Sounds pretty good to me, but I've never played the original so I don't know if it's working the way the original would. The gain knob doesn't really do much until just past 3 o'clock. Then it goes though an extreme gain increase from there until dimed. If that's the way it's supposed to be, I'd like to mod it so the gain has a more even sweep. I used a Linear (B) 1M pot as the build documents call for. Maybe change to logarithmic? Or change the value? Both? Or, perhaps I built something wrong? Greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
