Does the silkscreen pattern under the 1PDT have any mechanical meaning (traces etc below it)?

Can you please explain to me how it may be getting “too TGP” in here? What is TGP? Why is that sanitizer spelled wrong? I see multiple peculiarities about this situation and would appreciate some clarification.

I think you're confused and for that I'm sorry. The question was genuine. I haven't worked with rotary switches before and wanted to clarify if my footprint needed a specific track underneath it. It was a real question and something I needed the answer to, I wanted to know if the graphic under the footprint had a mechanical meaning .

The likening it to a satanic symbol was the only part where I was (trying) to be funny, which is the reason I said to you: "I hope you know I'm joking about the satanic part".

Is that now clear?

I took the entire question as a serious question and gave a serious answer, even addressing the satanic part. Once you explained about the satanic part I did catch the humor. The point I've been trying to make is that your original post wasn't clear that it was meant to be humorous, so no I didn't know this until you pointed it out. Perhaps I'm not the only one that was confused?

We just "got off on the wrong foot" I think.
