Dumb Question about the Corduroy Fuzz

First, I gotta say this is a great sounding pedal. Works very well with a Strat or Les Paul. Nice control ranges and plenty of volume on tap for driving the &%*# outta the front end of a tube amp. And that switch! Makes it into two different pedals.
Now for the dumb question: The Big/Tight switch, which way is which?
I'm pretty sure that up is Tight (LM386), down is Big (2N5089), the opposite of the Wampler pedal. Can anyone confirm? It would be helpful if the build docs indicated switch positions.

Has anyone besides me built this pedal?
Guess I'll have to answer this myself. Down has more gain (like 20dB more) and to my ears, it better matches the description of "BIG" in the Velvet Fuzz manual.

I've got the board but haven't built it yet, thanks for your reserach!
