Look at this fun little guy! Sure he may not be a happy drunk but man can he add some aggression to your tone.
The Dwarven Hammer was one of the first few pedals I built. I have tried a few different tube screamer variants, but there was always something that ether didn’t work for me or I didn’t like , namely the EQD yatz. The Dunes was nice and loud but the tonality options just weren’t hitting where I wanted, the Plumes is a great boost but because of the change pump sometimes it doesn’t play well with other pedals, and no one likes a squealing charge pump. I love my TS-808, there is a reason it’s the gold standard of tube screamers. sometimes it’s just not aggressive enough.
The first dwarven hammer I gave away to a friend’s son who was starting his adventure he needed a good OD to push his amp. I don’t regret giving it to him but I wanted another. Honestly I’m a little burnt out on AI art so I didn’t try to refine images too much and I thought Hammered Dwarf was funny, although he kept coming out more goblin- ish I wasn’t going to keep feeding the algorithm prompts, I was over it. All in all I think this is a great OD for metal, there is a reason the precision drive is an infamous OD. It’s a one trick pony and it does that trick very well.
