I have an 18V Echoplex preamp built by the Tagboardeffects layout and tried to tune it to the Clandestine Preamp settings. I made the following modifications:
1 - 20K trimpot instead of 22K resistor;
2 - On-off-on switch with 22n and 10n capacitors instead of 22n capacitor;
3 - 100K resistor connecting the output and terminal 3 of the potentiometer;
4 - Replacement of the 220K by 240K resistor.
I adjusted the trimpot to about 12.45V.
The pedal works, but the volume increase is very subtle, little above the unit. From 3 am the volume has a small drop until the end of the course.
More: the toggle switch in position 22n and off has practically no change. I only notice the difference when I switch to 10n. Any suggestions on what might be going on? The image of the circuit with the changes.
