Man, just perusing the build reports today and so many really talented folks on the forum doing their own PCB's and graphics.

I feel like a dinosaur..........:ROFLMAO:

Anyway, here's another really cool pedal. The JCM800 from Marshall's recent series.

It sounds surprisingly authentic. Feel like I'm playing through an amp rather a pedal.
My "amp" currently is a Friedman IR-D tube preamp going through the 6L6 power section of my Frenzel.
The IR-D is basically 2 Dirty Shirley Channels. Which is a modded JCM800/JTM45 hybrid.

At high gain settings it's definitely a JCM800.
So I did quite a bit of back and forth with the pedal and the amp and I have to admit the pedal's quite impressive.
It cleans up nicely with the volume control on the guitar.

Pretty high gain, it can't do the JCM800 clean tones very well, but thats not what you would build this pedal for right? heh

I ordered the MC33178 opamps from @Robert for this build.

Another recommended build!
