ElectroVibe mini biasing

Hi,

I’ve built the EV mini and it’s super cool!

What strategy / method should I follow for biasing using the two trim pots? Am I looking for a particular behaviour on the bulb, or is it all by ear?

Is the sound likely to be affected much by ambient light (ie do I want to close the back lid after each adjustment)?

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dk+pedals+electrovibeCheck out jjjimi84's build he has a good take on biasing it ... that will really depend on which LDR and the distance you have them from bulb. but for the most part I dialed mine similar to his... bulb barely on and try to get it to have a good balace of brite and cut off on the bulb.
