Probably a dumb question, but to those who have build this before, how did you guys install the headers?
The bottom board has the female header. The top board gets the male header pins.
My problem is no matter how install the male pins, I run into issues. With he plastic part of the male pins on the underside of the TOP board causes the top board to be too high and the lamp barely pokes out. If I put the plastic part of the male pins on the top, well, I dont see how I can solder them easily since the plastic part is blocking the top side of the solder pad and underneath, the solder will be on the pins that need to go into the female header. Also, its too low and now the underside of the TOP board is touching the metal tops of the electrolytic cap below.
What am I doing wrong?
