Engineers Thumb/LGSM

Haven't done a build report before really, but I thought I'd share some of the new direction I've been going with my builds. Been pretty happy with the consistency and process of designing in Affinity and printing on waterslide decals.
TS808 is pretty stock with green LEDs, sounds great! Built it for my friend, and then his bandmates in the other band were impressed and asked me for a few, so I'm making a small run because I'm convinced all my friends should have a TS on their board.
But the real winner is the engineers thumb, man is this a great compressor! It sounds great with guitar or bass, makes your guitar sound more guitary and bass sound bassy! Its so usable, versatile, and transparent, it's been amazing just sitting with the amp, pedal and guitar trying to see what tones you can make with just the compressor. I always love to compress bass and sometimes guitar in live sound and records, but this really makes the sound out of the amp just hit right on the way out, highly recommended and a pretty easy build (although I'd recommend drilling the potentiometers just a millimeter or so below the given template, as the bright switch PCB was running up against the DC jack).
No gut shots cuz they're all already happily living on other peoples boards, the gift of tone is its own reward!

I know sounds like a stupid question, but has anyone confirmed the Engineers Thumb build??
I built one up. Seems to work and all controls, but active LED is either ON....or ON brighter/darker!!
Just so I know when on or off, just disconnected the 2 wires from the board, and wired hot directly to the LED and ground to the switch, then switch thru current limiting resistor to LED!!
Just wanted yo throw this out there as shouldn't have had to do this and everything seems fine as controls are working, didn't see any solder bridges or anything, so didn't get why the issue, but wanted to report it!!

My guess is a bridge somewhere or maybe the switch is defective (although that seems much less likely). Post on troubleshooting?
