Fake JRC4558D's

I ordered these from a Online store here in Australia called Phipps Electronics, first & last time!!!
As soon as I opened the packet, I knew they were fakes, JRC4558D don't have that Indent on the end!
The Print is all wrong also!
I contacted Paypal & they refunded my money right then & there!
I got their email address from Paypal & notified them.
It's been a day & I have heard nothing from the Seller.

quick browse of their webstore..... damn, a lot of their stock looks suspiciously a lot like the shit you'll find browsing ebay /ebay stores claiming to be aus sellers that are really just offloading the same chinese shit that they've sent you. what a bummer.

That's why I only use Paypal
If someone asks for Paypal Family or Friends, you are not covered for a refund and you get charged the fee for using Paypal.
I always tell the seller in these circumstances I will give them extra money on the standard Paypal payment method so I am still covered if things
go wrong!

I was in touch with some of the folks at Phipps and seems they acknowledge that some of their suppliers have supplied them with modified or even counterfeit parts. But they are easy to talk with and they even offered me another batch/lot of these ICs. However, they were not able to find one and so they completely refunded my purchase.
