2021 has been a crappy year for pretty much everybody. There’s no getting around that. This year, however, wasn’t all bad— I personally found a wealth of enjoyment in the massive amounts of new music released this year.
In keeping with my tradition of previous years, this New Years Eve I’d like to share my favorite releases from the past 365 days. This time I’m changing things up a bit though— there’s been so much incredible music this year, that I can’t narrow it down to a simple top 9 list as I usually do— instead I’ve compiled four different categories: Studio Releases, Archival Releases, Singles, and Live Releases. Even still, a multitude of fantastic releases have been left behind, so I have a somewhat-more-complete Spotify playlist of all of my favorites from this year, totaling more than 60 hours— check it out at https://tinyurl.com/Bricksnbeatles
