Holy Island Audio has some wonderful DIY projects/boards and I'd been meaning to try this one out for a while with some spare parts. I bought a grip of olive drab Tayda 125Bs from LMS a while ago and had a large knob laying around, so why not? A bit embarassing I fucked up the LED wiring originally, but I've since sorted it and this thing is so damn cool. I think I'll probably add a TRS switching jack so I can control the knob with an expression pedal. *Or*, I might just this entire thing in a 1590A, and skip the pot entirely in favor of an expression jack so with certain patches on my RJM switcher, I can bring the noise in and out at will.
Weather's taken a turn for the ~9 months of shit as it does annually out here, so the sub-55 F weather means no clearcoating and thus little to no graphics on my builds until the late winter/early spring, alas. So goes PNW life!
