First build - Sunflower Fuzz, biasing question

So I am going to attempt my first build with the Sunflower fuzz.

I'm fairly confident about everything except for the biasing the internal trimpots. From what I understand...

Bias 5k trim - Measure at collector of Q2 for 4.5 - 5.5v, with bias knob set at noon.

Not sure about the "clean" 50k trim? How do I go about that?

Also, very noobish question but, when I install the trimpots, do they need to be set at 0, noon, etc? Does that matter at all?

You do not need to preset the trimpots in this pedal.

The BIAS trim sets the tone of the SUNDIAL control when SUNDIAL is full CCW. It also affects the volume. Adjust it according to taste.

The CLEAN trim has an effect similar to dialing down the guitar's volume. It is most noticeable when FUZZ is dimed. Adjust it according to taste.
