Found a bunch of old transistors and diodes being thrown away

Old thread to revive, I also found some 2N3053. According to Barry from GuitarPCB they are good in silicon fuzzes.

The best way to find out is to measure them!

Breadboard!
Try them in various circuits as transistors (of course) but ALSO as diodes...

Or if you normally socket your transistors in builds then try hot-swapping them into some old builds.
