Well, compared to normal these days... My wife and I used to go to see a band every weekend, or even during the week if it was a touring band. I am fortunate to have a partner who loves live music as much as I do. She would almost always come along to my gigs too.
As you get older the bands you want to see play less often. But last night we saw The Clouds at our local gig pub. The Clouds are an Aussie band who rose to fame in the early '90s, an era I enjoyed very much. they have hints of Pixies, Veruka Salt, Belly, but definitely have their own thing going on. The two female singers harmonise beautifully and are in contrast to a chunky lead guitar and powerful drumming. They really rock. And they still have it.
