My second of Barry’s combos, the dark side of the moon. As the name suggests, it pays homage to David Gilmour, and consists of a HiWatt ampsim into a silicon fuzz and lastly a phaser. The ribbon cables enable neat offboard wiring and it’s nicely laid out, so a fairly straightforward build.
There’s a wide range of toans available from dark to relatively thin, but quite versatile overall. It can get pretty loud as well if one is so inclined.
As yet unlabelled, but punning on David = Dave and remembering the seventies, it seems the name in the title above might stick. Will be good to have matching knobs eventually but for now it’s done. Thanks for reading as always.
