Here's one of Barry's new NostalgiTone combo builds.
A number of firsts for me (FWIW): I ordered the pre-drilled enclosure from Tayda but baulked at the complications of having them UV print it. So I managed to find a local printing service to do this on my behalf. I'm stoked with the result as below.
This means I can have all my unlabelled boxes professionally printed in the fullness of time. I will apply myself to learning graphics software to make these look as good as possible. Thanks to all of you who have contributed tutorials and other resources in this regard: invaluable guidance only a mouse-click away.
This is also the first time I've used the ribbon cables Barry supplied. I like the tidiness and general convenience of this idea no end.
In action: it's a combination tremolo (with a switchable buffer), Fuzz Face variant, and Bluesbreaker MIAB and a lot of fun to play with. After boxing it last night, I spent some noodle-time fiddling with it and managed to find some very useful toans along the way.
Thanks for reading as ever and have a great weekend wherever you are.
