Great pedal stacks…

For the bc549c I actually used Tayda but for the oc71 I tried multiple different options including a few different oc71s which were $$ but worth it. Both my Duocast and simulcast landed on different oc71s and they sound magical. The weird thing is if I swap the oc71s around they don’t sound very good. Each pedal reacts differently. That’s why I suggest you try every thing you have on hand and go with the one that sounds magical.
Good advice (imo). 60-80 hFE / low Iceo seems the preferred range for the Ge PNP.

Just put this through an app called Topaz Gigapixel. This actually works good with art if you have a low res image that you want to use as a graphic. If you are trying to clean up photos of faces, there is a phone only app called Remini that seems to be the best one for that.

I really want to build a low tide at some point. I had thought it would be cool to run a delay pedal 100% wet into the low tide and then mixed back in with the normal dry signal. It would sort of get the meet maud delay. However, it would require having an effects loop in the delay pedal. I have the Chop Shop sitting on my desk ready to put together. Were there any parts that were tricky to get for the Low Tide? I am probably going to go through the build document to order the components tomorrow.
The Low Tide in a delay effects loops would sound super cool, especially with the LPG filter!

I can't recommend the Low Tide enough, and the parts aren't super tricky to find beyond the V3207D BBD chip (which is out of stock most everywhere). Fortunately, it's the same die as the MN3207 or BL3207, and you can find either of those on eBay or pedal-specific sites (I used the BL3207 & it sounds great). The other kinda weirdo parts are:
  • LM258 - Can use LM358
  • MCP602 - I think Tayda has them now, but also Mouser/Digikey
  • A1M Dual-Gang Pot - B1M Dual-Gang is easier to find & works just fine
  • 2SK208-Y - Mouser has 'em, but you can also use a 2SK30A-Y or even J201

Wow thanks. The 2SK208-Y at Mouser is only surface mount? I will actually have a couple of extra J201s if they work with no issues.
That V3207D chip looks impossible to find. I can't seem to find the BL3207. Where did you find yours? There is a MN3207 for $7USD, which seems a bit steep but it maybe that is normal given the chip shortage?

2SK208-Y is the SMD version of 2SK30A-Y, which is through-hole, but J201 will work fine.

I already had a BL3207 and don't remember where I got it. $7 for a single 3207 is a little steep, but if it's from a reliable vendor it might be worth the peace of mind.

Reviving a great thread..

Low gain pedal (Jan Ray, Luxury763, Chop Shop, fuzz on low) > Low Tide > Hydra > Gravitation > Spirit Box

The last three make a great combination for simulating more complex reverbs. Hydra can do early reflections, the other two can have different reflections, and the Low Tide just gives it that special touch.
