The Effectslatouts Great Vengeance (D*A*M Ezekiel 25:17)
This pedal is the secret sauce. I use it like a preamp and it's like a second channel into my gained up Friedman. It is actually strangely subtle how it just reshapes the sound. It gets praise from bassists, but this has been awesome on guitar. Adds a fullness that punches when you dig in and grit when you boost it. I hadn't labeled it or put an LED on the front till today... (you're welcome) but about a month ago I pulled it out to shootout as I looked for drive pedals that sounded good into both the gain and clean channel of my amp. Definitely keeping this one on my main board. I'll add art someday when I feel inspired.
I don't love the rotary. They all feel a bit fragile to me. If I built it again I would test the diodes and just pick one or two on a toggle.
I'm annoyed. I put the LED on the opposite side from the one I wanted to. But oh well.
I have it on good authority there's one of these in the works around these parts.
